Thank you for your order from Buscema Photography. We take pride in delivering high-quality images and products. Please review our return and exchange policy below.
Pre-Order Photography Sessions
Pre-orders are advance purchases for scheduled photo shoots.
Refund Policy
- Full refunds available until 11:59 PM the day before the scheduled shoot
- No refunds after the shoot date for any reason
- Refunds processed within 5-7 business days to original payment method
Missed Shoots
- If your athlete cannot attend due to illness or emergency, contact us within 24 hours of the shoot
- Makeup sessions may be available if we're already scheduled at your location for another shoot
- Standalone makeup sessions are not available due to setup and travel costs
- Forgotten appointments or scheduling conflicts are not eligible for makeups or refunds
Why This Policy: We block time and prepare specifically for pre-paid athletes. When athletes don't attend without notice, we cannot fill that time slot.
Contact us before the shoot date if you have concerns about your athlete's ability to attend.
Digital Downloads
All digital download sales are final. Digital products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once the download link has been provided or the file has been accessed.
We understand that digital products are immediately delivered and cannot be "returned" in a traditional sense. Please carefully review your image selection, crop, and any customization options before completing your purchase.
Exception: If you receive a corrupted file, the wrong image, or experience a technical issue preventing download, please contact us within 48 hours and we will resolve the issue promptly.
Print Products
We guarantee the quality of all print products. If your print arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we will gladly provide a replacement at no charge.
What We Cover
We will replace prints that arrive with:
- Damage from shipping (bent, torn, crushed)
- Print quality defects (color banding, smudges, incorrect colors)
- Manufacturing defects (improper mounting, framing issues)
- Wrong product shipped (incorrect size, wrong image, wrong product type)
To request a replacement:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide your order number
- Include photos clearly showing the defect or damage
- We will send a replacement at no cost to you
What We Do Not Cover
Prints cannot be returned or refunded for the following reasons:
- Customer cropping choices made during checkout
- Size or product selection errors made by the customer
- Change of mind after the order is placed
- Color variations between your screen display and the physical print (all monitors and devices display colors differently)
- Subjective dissatisfaction with composition, lighting, or other artistic elements of the photograph
- Normal minor variations in print production (slight color shifts within industry standards)
Important: Customer Crop Selection
Our ordering system allows you to preview and customize the crop of your image before purchase. You are responsible for reviewing and approving your crop selection before checkout. Once your order is submitted, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges due to cropping choices you made during the ordering process.
Please take your time and review your crop carefully before completing your order.
How to Request a Replacement
If you believe your print qualifies for a replacement under our quality guarantee:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery

- Subject line: "Print Replacement Request - Order #[number]"
- Include the following information:
- Your order number
- Description of the issue
- Clear photos showing the defect or damage
- Your shipping address (if different from original order)
Defective Product Return:
- For damaged or defective prints, we may ask you to destroy and discard the defective item rather than returning it
- In some cases, we may provide a prepaid return label if the item needs to be returned
Replacement Processing:
- Approved replacements will be produced and shipped within 5-7 business days
- You will receive tracking information once your replacement ships
Non-Refundable Items
The following are considered final sale and cannot be returned or refunded under any circumstances:
- Digital downloads (once accessed or delivered)
- Custom or personalized products
- Sale or clearance items (if applicable)
- Gift cards or certificates
Processing Time
Replacement requests are typically reviewed within 1-2 business days. Once approved, replacements are printed and shipped within 5-7 business days.
Damaged Packages
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please:
- Take photos of the damaged packaging before opening
- Inspect the contents and photograph any damage to the product
- Contact us immediately with photos of both the packaging and product
This documentation helps us file claims with the shipping carrier and process your replacement faster.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled before production begins by contacting us directly. Once your order has entered production or your digital file has been delivered, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Print orders typically enter production within 24-48 hours of order placement. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel.
