Sports Banners and Posters

No. Most programs run banners for the entire varsity roster. Senior night is the most common reason people first ask about them, but plenty of teams do the full roster, or a full class, or just the athletes whose families want one. That gets decided before the shoot, so the session can be planned around the right number of athletes.

Either one works. Banners are a deliverable, not a separate kind of shoot. If your program already has a standard team session booked, we can plan banner shots into it. A media day session gives more room for styled lighting, props, and variety, and that difference shows up in the finished banner, but it is not a requirement.

Yes, as long as there is enough time built into the plan. Flag it before the shoot rather than after. Banner framing is different from a standard team photo, and I would rather shoot for it than crop for it later.

Typical turnaround is about two weeks from the shoot to finished banners in hand. That covers editing, design, and printing. If your date is tighter than that, say so up front and we will look at what is realistic rather than guess.

Finished banners, printed and ready to hang. I design each one from the session images and print them on scrim vinyl with grommets, which holds up outdoors on a fence line and looks right indoors on a gym wall. You are not being handed files to go get printed somewhere else.

I work directly with the program, usually a coach or a team parent as the single point of contact from the shoot through delivery. How it gets paid for varies. Some programs cover the whole set out of the team budget or a booster fund, and others collect from families for their own athlete. That gets sorted out before anything is scheduled.

I have put together makeup sessions for banners before, but I cannot promise one every time, because it depends on the schedule and how much runway is left before the banners need to go up. The safest plan is getting the date to your roster early and reminding them as it gets close.

Any of them. So far that has included football, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, lacrosse, softball, soccer, and cheer. If your program is not on that list it is not a problem, the approach is the same.

Earlier is better, and about a month of lead time is comfortable. It leaves room to plan the session, get the date to your athletes, and still have runway for design and printing. That is not always how it works out, though. If your date is closer than that, reach out anyway. Tighter timelines are harder and I would rather talk one through than promise something up front, but they can absolutely be done.
